Day 1

Depart Toronto Pearson International    Airport for Santiago de Cuba.  Upon arrival at Antonio Maceo International Airport you will met and transferred to your hotel.  Dinner.  Evening at leisure.

Note:  Direct charter flights to Santiago de Cuba  are only available in the Winter Season.  If travelling in off season then you would need to fly into Havana and then connect to a domestic flight to Santigo de Cuba.

Day 2

After breakfast begin your tour of this fascinating city.  Explore the city center including visits to   the Rum House, the Cespedes Park and Enramada Street.  One of the highlights is a visit to the Castillo del Morro San Pedro de la Roca, recently declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.  

Lunch at El Morro Restaurant.  Continue on to Baconao Park Biosphere Reserve where you will visit the “Valle de la Prehistoria” (a collection of life sized stone reproductions of animals from the Jurassic era), the Aquarium and the Baconao Lagoon.  Return to the hotel.  Dinner.  This evening enjoy either a folkloric show on the terrace of the hotel or visit the Disco (includes free entry and welcome cocktail).

Day 3

Breakfast.  Today we travel to the Sierra de la Gran Piedra visiting the Mirador Natural look-out point located 1,234 meters above sea level on top of a 75,000 ton rock, the Botanical Garden and the remains of the Isabelica Coffee Plantation and it’s museum.  Check in at your hotel.  Lunch.  Enjoy an afternoon folkloric show by La Tumba Francesa at the Isabelica Plantation’s Museum.  Dinner.  Evening at leisure.

Day 4

After breakfast you continue your tour heading     towards Baracoa - the first city founded in Cuba.  Stop for lunch at the Malones Mirador (the look-out point closest to the U.S. Naval Base) at Guantanamo.  Check in at your hotel in Baracoa.  Dinner.  Evening at leisure.

Day 5

Breakfast.  Depart for a tour of Baracoa including  visits to the Matachin Museum, the Cathedral, the home of the famous Cruz de Parra that the historians believe was brought to Cuba by Columbus and the banks of the famous Toa River.  Enjoy a local creole lunch on site.  Return to hotel.  Dinner.  Evening at leisure.

Day 6

Breakfast.  Departure for Guardalavaca to enjoy a  day at the beach.  Stop for lunch at Aldea Taina - where there are buildings exhibiting the architecture of the first native inhabitants of the island.  Continue on to the city of Holguin.  Check in at the hotel.  Dinner.  Evening at leisure.

Day 7

Breakfast.  Depart for a city sightseeing tour exploring the city’s most important streets, squares and avenues.  Continue on to Santiago de Cuba and on arrival check in at your hotel.  Lunch.  This afternoon tour the village of El Cobre with a visit to the Bascilica de la Virgen de la Caridad del Cobre - patroness of Cuba.  Return to hotel.  Dinner.  This evening attend a performance by the Tropicana de Santiago Cabaret (including a welcome cocktail).

Day 8

Breakfast.  Transfer to Antonio Maceo International Airport for return flight home.
