Caleta Buena - Diving and Snorkeling Center at the Zapata Peninsula Cuba

Caleta Buena is an unforgettable place, located 8 km from Playa Giron, at the end of the Cienaga de Zapata, at
the south cost of Cuba. Caleta Buena is an exclusive attraction of Playa Giron and unknown diving and snorkeling destination in Cuba. Playa Giron and Playa Larga are on the Bay of Pigs, access to this region is by road. The area is 211km from Havana, 140km from Varadero, and 120 km from Cienfuegos. On the way from Playa Larga to Playa Giron, there are numbers
of excellent snorkeling and diving sites.

"Cueva de los Peces" is the largest flooded cavern in the Cuban archipelago, ideal place to practice cave diving.
Here, you will find flooded caves that open on the sea, natural pools and a seabed of particular beauty. An ideal place for day and night scuba diving by beginners and experienced divers, including exploration of marine caves.

Dives are made directly from the coast, because samples of the most beautiful species of coral Elkhorn, Brains, Leafs, Stars and large numbers of multicolored fish are close to the shore.

 Hotel Playa Giron located just a few steps from the beach, in the well known Cienaga de Zapata area. Rooms are housed in a series of one, two, and three bedroom ranch bungalows and duplexes. All equipped with all amenities demanded by modern tourism, so that they can enjoy their leisure time.
