Cienfuegos Supermodel Naomi Campbell surprise visit to Cienfuegos, Cuba December, 2007 The catwalk queen Naomi Campbell visit Cuba seeking an interview with Fidel Castro in her new role as political reporter. Wearing a beige dress and big sunglasses, Campbell was accompanied by Vice Foreign Minister Alejandro Gonzalez during her visit to city of Cienfuegos. Naomi added a touch of glamour to a regional summit in Cuba, getting a first look at homes donated by Venezuela for Cuban workers at a refurbished Cienfuegos oil refinery. Hugo Chavez and Cuban president Raul Castro presided the official opening of the refinery at the end of the Petrocaribe summit in Cienfuegos, an initiative created by Venezuela to provide oil to Caribbean. The housing is for workers oil refinery, whose refurbishment was sponsored by Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez. Naomi Campbell has been commissioned by Britain's GQ magazine to interview high profile political figures. She has already landed an interview with Venezuela's President Hugo Chavez two months ago. |
